The inspiration at the rear of the colourful, oversized piece, Wong said in a video, arrived from the Japanese robot toy model kits he received as a youngster from his father. It stands 7 toes tall.

The Small Free of charge Library compartment is on the back of the art piece. During the artwork’s reveal, attendees stuffed the Tiny Free of charge Library with comic publications, graphic novels, children’s textbooks, ‘zines, and much more.

According to Wong’s web site, the goal at the rear of the general public artwork and little library is to inspire the upcoming generation of Asian American artists and resourceful professionals”.

WKYC Studios together with Areas, MidTown Cleveland, The Fowler Basis, Very little Totally free Library, OCA Better Cleveland/Cleveland Asian Festival, WestCamp, Brandan Baki of 26 Manufactured and Purple Movies supported this project.
