Discovery of bodies inside Bellport property probed as double homicide

Suffolk
murder detectives returned to a home in Bellport Wednesday exactly where a man and
female had been uncovered useless within a working day before.

Sources say
the incident is becoming investigated as a double murder.

In accordance to law enforcement, an officer experimented with to quit a driver at
the intersection of Route 112 and Montauk Highway in East Patchogue on Tuesday
early morning. That is when the driver slammed into a phone pole.

Law enforcement explain to Information 12 the man then slit his throat as the
officer approached his auto.

“The law enforcement officer ran up to the automobile, discovered the human being
was bleeding profusely from the neck. He pulled him out of the car, termed an
ambulance, but the man was dead on arrival,” suggests Suffolk Police Detective Lt.
Kevin Beyer.

Law enforcement say the unidentified male lived on Doane Avenue in
Bellport.

When police went to the household to notify the relatives about
the man’s suicide, they observed two bodies inside. Law enforcement say it was a male and a
woman who show up to be connected to the person who fled from law enforcement.

Autopsies will be conducted to establish the lead to of loss of life
and the identities of the victims.
