When we magically find a pot of gold, we’ll be calling Ben and Erin Napier to redecorate our home, thank you very much.

While we’ve often wondered what it’s really like to be on Home Town, what we’ve really wondered is: How can we hire the Napiers, or the Property Brothers, or Nate Berkus…or any of our favorite stars from HGTV to renovate our digs?

If money is no object, you might be able to commission a full project with your top pick HGTV design guru. As House Beautiful shared in their recent article by Stefanie Waldek on the topic, “it’s really as simple as googling the designer’s studio, finding a contact email or phone number, and asking if they’re taking new clients.”

More likely, however, procuring one of these celebrity interior designers for a home renovation is out of the budget. But that doesn’t mean you can’t get personalized advice from top-notch interior designers. According to the same House Beautiful piece, a new website called The Expert, which lets you book video consultations with top interior design experts, already has enlisted HGTV star Leanne Ford of Restored by the Fords. Ford’s rates start at $750 for 25 minutes, which certainly is steep, but you may find your session gives you the road map you need to move forward with your dream home. With more designers joining the platform, keep your eyes peeled for other HGTV design gurus offering up their services. Bummed to not see Ben and Erin on the list? Here’s an awesome way to get the counsel of the Home Town-ers: Enter this fundraiser for the expansion of the Children’s Hospital of Mississippi for chance to win a virtual design consultation with the couple. Tickets are $15 each and the fundraiser ends on January 17 at 11 p.m. so be sure to make your donation ASAP.
